Robert Schmitt is the Senior Investment Manager at Hampshire Real Estate Companies. Schmitt's involvement with the Hampshire real estate portfolio has ranged from disposition, acquisitions and refinancing to negotiating tenant renewals, new leases and shopping center expansion projects. Schmitt also supervises leasing and property management teams on several properties where Hampshire functions as a third party manager.

Prior to his affiliation with Hampshire, Schmitt was an Asset Manager with Legg Mason Real Estate Advisors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At Legg Mason, he was responsible for managing a portfolio of real estate investments for pension fund clients including equities, joint ventures and mortgages.

Schmitt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.
