James E. Hanson II, Principal

President & CEO

As President of Hampshire Real Estate Companies, James Hanson is fully dedicated to the formation, operation and investment activities of the Hampshire family of funds.

Hanson has over 25 years of real estate investment management experience, and serves as the President of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. In 1995, Hanson spearheaded a joint venture between Hampshire and CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) to provide asset management and advisory services to institutional investors. In 2001, Hampshire sold their share of the joint venture to CBRE to allow Hanson's full dedication to the Hampshire Partners Fund VI.

Hanson has a B.A. degree from Hope College and a J.D. degree from Vermont Law School, Magna Cum Laude.
